The Instagram post states that Fandemic Tour will form a strategic partnership with another Atlanta-based convention, ATL Comic-Con. The two Georgia conventions will combine resources and expertise to create a new, elevated convention experience for con-goers.
What’s exciting is that fans do not have to wait long to experience the new changes. The partnership with GWCC begins on March 18-22, 2022, which is the original date for this year’s original Fandemic Dead.
This recent partnership seems to be a trend in the convention circuit. Most recently, Wizard World merged with Fan Expo to create a bigger and better convention experience than either has done before. Will more conventions look to partnerships to develop new powerhouse cons? Only time will tell, but teamwork makes the dream work. You can continue to count on us for breaking comic-con news.
As for Fandemic Dead, tickets are still available for purchase. You can purchase tickets and con-experiences by heading to Fandemic Tour’s official website.
This year’s convention has a stellar line-up of guests, including Sebastian Stan, Norman Reedus, Stephen Amell, Pom Klementieff, Nick Carter, Greg Nicotero, with many more guests still to be announced! You can check out Fandemic Tour’s guests’ page to see the current roster.
