The Boys Season 3 Gets Premiere Date

Amazon Prime has finally announced the Season 3 premiere date for the superhero series The Boys.

The streamer confirmed that the series will return with a three-episode premiere on Friday, June 3rd. New episodes will then air each Friday after leading to the season finale on July 8th.

Season 3 of the smash-hit series will see Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, and Claudia Doumit all return. Supernatural star Jensen Ackles and The Walking Dead’s Laurie Holden will also debut in the series as Soldier Boy and Crimson Countess.

News of the premiere date was revealed during the latest episode of Vought News Network’s digital series Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman – a tie-in to The Boys that has been offering fans glimpses into the show’s world

While episode details remain unknown, the new season will pick up after the catastrophic events of the season 2 finale. Jensen Ackles Soldier Boy is expected to play a pivotal role as the war between The Boys and The Seven continues. Reports also suggest the series will double down on the explicit and outrageous content with series creator Eric Kripke confirming the notorious Herogasm episode will happen.

Speaking in a recent interview, Kripke gave fans his description of season 3.

“There’s definitely a lot of madness. It’s not a secret that we’re doing an episode about “Herogasm” from the comics [a six-issue limited series from comics writer Garth Ennis], which is a massive superhero orgy. And we’re doing something in the first episode that I think is definitely the craziest thing we’ve ever pulled off…and might be one of the craziest things anybody’s ever tried to pull off.”

Cast members recently held a panel at Dragon Con 2021 and answered questions from fans in attendance.
