Stranger Things Season 4 Final Trailer Released

The wait for Stranger Things Season 4 is nearly over and today we got our final trailer ahead of the release.

Season 4 takes place six months after the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.

Check out the trailer below.

Season 4 of Netflix’s smash-hit series will be broken up into two volumes. The first seven episodes will arrive this Friday, May 27th, and the final two episodes will hit on July 1st.

Those looking forward to their binge might want to get a whole lot of popcorn ready, as this season will be the longest ever. Each episode runs for more than an hour and the season finale itself is more like a movie, clocking in at a whopping 2 hrs and 20 minutes!

The upcoming season promises to be the scariest yet, with series creators The Duffer Brothers stating that it will lean more heavily into horror.

“When we pitched it to Netflix all those years ago, we pitched it as the kids are…The Goonies in E.T. That’s their storyline. And the adults are in Jaws and Close Encounters and then the teens are in Nightmare on Elm Street or Halloween. But, this year, we don’t have the kids. We can’t do The Goonies anymore. And so, suddenly, we’re leaning much harder into that horror movie territory that we love. It was fun to make that change.”

Series regulars Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Winona Ryder, and David Harbour will all return, with horror icon Robert Englund being the latest high-profile addition to the cast.
