SMALLVILLE Super Women Panel – Wizard World Austin 2019

Erica Durance, Kristin Kreuk and Laura Vandervoort from Smallville appear in a Wizard World Austin 2019 reunion panel to talk about their careers, the experiences they had on the set of Smallville and answer fan questions.

Erica Durance portrayed the spunky Lois Lane opposite Tom Welling’s Clark Kent and brought a fresh perspective to this iconic character. She has also appeared in the CW’s Supergirl as Alura Zor-El and will be appearing in the Arrowverse crossover event Crisis on Infinite Earths. She has also appeared as one of the lead characters on Saving Hope and has appeared in Stargate SG-1, Andromeda and The Butterfly Effect 2.

Kristin Kreuk played Lana Lang, Clark’s first love for 158 episodes of Smallville. She has also appeared as the lead in Beauty and the Beast and Burden of Truth, plus has had roles on Chuck, Edgemont and appeared in the movie Eurotrip.

Laura Vandervoort played Kara Zor-El, Clark’s cousin from Krypton, also known as Supergirl, for 23 episodes. She was also the lead in the werewolve show Bitten and is currently starring in the Netflix show V-Wars. She also appeared in the CW’s Supergirl series as Indigo. Other projects include Con Man, Ice, Captain Canuck and V, the television series as Lisa. Her new short film, Age of Dysphoria, is currently making the film festival circuit.

Smallville continues to command a huge fan base, having run for 10 seasons and is the reason the Arrowverse shows came into being. Check out these amazing women who played iconic roles and owned them.
