Paddington in Peru Gets A New Trailer!

The trailer for Paddington in Peru dropped and it looks like another amazing family-friendly good time. This time Paddington and his adopted family, the Browns, decide to visit his Aunt Lucy in Peru. Circumstances lead them towards misadventures in the Amazon rainforest and mountains of Peru. We are finally headed out of London.

When the trailer for the first Paddington movie was released, people weren’t impressed. It just looked like a cheap children’s flick with a bunch of gags. When the film was finally released it was a huge hit amongst audiences and critics. It was praised for a well-written story, charm, and effects. The box office was good too as it grossed almost 300 million dollars worldwide.

Paddington 2 if you could believe it matched the first movie in just about every way. It made money once again and was beloved. Seriously both of these movies score 97 and 99 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. The story of the sequel was more ambitious with Paddington ending up in prison. The film was even referenced in the Nicolas Cage movie The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, as Cage’s and Pedro Pascal’s beloved movie.

Paddington in Peru brings back returning stars Hugh Bonneville, Madeleine Harris, Samuel Joslin, Julie Walters, Jim Broadbent, Imelda Staunton, and Ben Wishaw as Paddington. Emily Mortimer will be playing the role of Mary Brown taking over for Sally Hawkins. Joining the cast is Antonio Banderas and Olivia Coleman. Paul King directed the first two but this time we have Dougal Wilson in his debut. Paddington in Peru will be released November 8th in the United Kingdom and January 17 2025 in the United States.
