On September 8th and 9th, 2018, heroes and villains from many of your favorite superhero shows invaded Edison, New Jersey. And many fans were there to meet them.

Heroes & Villains Fan Fest, a superhero themed media convention, is produced by the same team that brings Walker Stalker Conventions to various parts of the U.S. and beyond. But this convention is much more colorful, with cosplayers portraying many of their favorite characters from D.C. Comics, Marvel and more!

With a guest list featuring such names as Ray Fisher (Justice League), Robin Lord Taylor (Gotham), Candice Patton (The Flash), David Ramsey (Arrow) and Matt Ryan (DC’s Legends of Tomorrow), the fans came in droves to meet these talented actors. This also marked a rare U.S. Appearance for actor Colton Haynes, who has been on Teen Wolf as well as Arrow.

Many of the actors, in addition to signing autographs and posing with fans for photos, took the stage for panel discussions. Fielding questions from attendees, the guests gave us a glimpse behind the scenes of our favorite shows. We even had a rare treat with a mini-concert from actor Drew Powell. (Who knew he sang? We did. Check out his interview from Walker Stalker Con here.)

In addition, many vendors were selling collectibles, superhero themed shirts, home décor, and at one booth… soap. With a fandom twist.

Cosplayers also flocked to the convention center, showing off some amazing costumes. (Check out our cosplayer gallery.) Though superheroes may have been the theme, Star Wars, Star Trek, Horror and other fandoms were represented as well.

People seemed to enjoy the aspects of this convention. Whether meeting celebrities, posing with cosplayers, shopping or attending one of the panels, fans seemed to be smiling and having a good time.
