Back on October 15, 2021, we reported that No Way Home may be Tom Holland’s last film as Spider-Man. Well, webheads, you can save your tears because Tom Holland’s spider-menace is here to stay.
Spider-Man: No Way Home producer Amy Pascal revealed in an interview that Sony and Marvel have agreed to collaborate on three more films for the franchise. Marking a historical first for modern Spider-Man films.
Pascal is quoted telling Fandango, “This is not the last movie that we are going to make with Marvel – [this is not] the last Spider-Man movie. We are getting ready to make the next Spider-Man movie with Tom Holland and Marvel. We’re thinking of this as three films, and now we’re going to go on to the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies.”
Tom Holland’s signing on to continue his reign as Spider-Man could hold some weight to the rumors that he will be the leader of the Young Avengers.
We are happy to hear Holland is returning, but what about you? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below or online.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will swing into theaters on Dec 17, 2021. Also, be on the lookout for our discussion panel the following week.
