All your anime — all in one place!

Anime company Funimation, which serves millions of anime fans in over 52 countries and 10 languages, is officially moving its content to Crunchyroll. The move, which will include Funimation’s subsidiary, Wakanim, will create a one subscription service for anime fans worldwide.

As of today, tons of shows and movies from Funimation and Wakanim will begin arriving on Crunchyroll. Titles like My Hero Academia, Tokyo Ghoul, and Yu Yu Hakusho will stream alongside favorites like Cowboy Bebop and Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation on the platform.

A statement accompanying the news said:

“As Crunchyroll and Funimation enter this new era together, we couldn’t be more excited to bring together a vibrant community of anime fans, creators, and artists. Thank you for taking anime to the next level with us!”

Crunchyroll also announced that Funimation, Wakanim, and VRV subscribers will get a special deal for 60 days of Crunchyroll Premium free! Qualified Funimation, Wakanim, and VRV subscribers will receive an email with their unique link to redeem in the next few days.

A FAQ page and Welcome to Crunchyroll Guide have been set up to enable fans more clarity on the situation moving forward.
