Hot on the heels of the last announced spinoff, Amazon’s The Boys is getting into animation! Diabolical: The Boys will be an 8-episode anthology series, adding new stories to the canon of the series. Awkwafina, Seth Rogan, Andy Samberg, and Aisha Tyler are just a few of the creative minds behind the series.
According to The Boys showrunner Eric Kripke, the series is nearly done and has no rules. The series will be taking cues from some of the arcs in the comics, including ones that make fun of the X-Men. Kripke also cites The Animatrix as inspiration for this series, which tracks.
No date has been announced yet for Diabolical, but it looks like we won’t have too long to wait.
