Batman: Wayne Family Adventures Returns!

Released back in 2021, Batman: Wayne Family Adventures returns with their third season this month. After season two ended back in December 2023, this comic’s return is very welcome to their WEBTOON fans. From a collaboration with WEBTOON and DC, this Eisner-nominated webcomic follows Batman and his gaggle of superhero children, filled with wholesome shenanigans and dynamic characters.

WEBTOON summarizes it as follows:

Batman needs a break. But with new vigilante Duke Thomas moving into Wayne Manor and an endless supply of adopted, fostered, and biological superhero children to manage, Bruce Wayne is going to have his hands full. Being a father can’t be harder than being Batman, right?

Written by CRC Payne and drawn by StarBite (though assisted by Kielamel Sibal, Lan Ma, C.M. Cameron, and Camille Cruz), the series has 9.79 stars, 1.5 million subscribers, and 121.5 million views. The first season has 51 episodes, the second has 64 episodes, and the new season three will have 50 total episodes. Three mini-episodes and the first two episodes of season three of BWFA are now available on WEBTOON.

The Batfamily vigilantes work to keep Gotham City safe and consist of the following cast of characters: Batman/Bruce Wayne (obviously), Alfred Pennyworth, Duke Thomas/The Signal, Damian Wayne/Robin, Tim Drake/Red Robin, Cassandra Cain/Orphan, Jason Todd/Red Hood, Barbara Gordon/Oracle, Stephanie Brown/Spoiler, and Dick Grayson/Nightwing.

In this new season, Batfam will be facing their first season-long threat in a new narrative arc. Readers can keep up with BWFA every Thursday when a new episode drops.

Batman: Wayne Family Adventures isn’t only for long-time DC fans, but any new reader who wants to jump into the DC universe through Batman. With it only diving into season three now, there’s plenty of time to binge and catch up!
