A Scooby-Doo Anime Is in Production

During the 2024 Annecy International Animation Film Festival and Market in France, Warner Bros. Animation announced that an anime adaptation of the beloved classic Scooby-Doo is in production. The series, titled Go-Go Mystery Machine, will take place in Japan and star Shaggy and Scooby. While these two appear to be the only members of Mystery Inc. that will be featured in the show, we will be introduced to a new cast of friends including a pink-haired girl named Etsuko and a dark-skinned boy named Toshiro. We will also meet Scooby’s uncle, Daisuke-Doo, who may or may not be the Shiba Inu shown in the promotional image below.

There is no official release date is set, but it will eventually air on Cartoon Network.
