TRANSFORMERS OUTBACK G1 vs BOTCON vs POTP – Triple Versus Review

Transformers Generation One Outback is a classic character, and we’re putting him up against the Botcon Fallback (Outback) and the Power of the Primes Outback in this special triple versus review. Captain Kyle will go through the good, back and nostalgic with each piece.

The Autobot Outback appeared in the third season of the Transformers cartoon, during the Five Faces of Darkness storyline. He used a bogus Decepticon detector to flush out Ramjet and Dirge from where they hid at a Carbombya airfield so they could be interrogated for the location of Chaar, where the Decepticons fled after Transformers the Movie.

With an Australian accent, he was voiced by Dan GIlvezan and later Gregg Berger. Hasbro lost the trademark to the name of Outback, so when he was released as a Botcon Exclusive, he was called Fallback. The trademark was reacquired by Hasbro in 2018, which allowed them to use the proper name for Power of the Primes Legends Class Outback and the reissue G1 toy.
