TRANSFORMERS Legacy Pointblank with Peacemaker Review

Transformers introduced Targetmasters in 1987, including the Autobot Pointblank with his Nebulon partner Peacemaker. They appeared in the US cartoon during the Rebirth 3-part series which is often counted as the 4th season of the show, in the Headmasters coming book by Marvel, and also in the Headmasters series in Japan. Captain Kyle goes over the new Legacy version of Pointblank with his partner to see if it’s right for your collection.

Pointblank was introduced along with 2 other new Autobot characters in the Targetmaster group: Sureshot and Crosshairs. Hot Rod, Kup, and Blurr were also retooled and given Targetmaster partners, though not in the Japanese toy line. The original toy also came with a detachable spoiler, which could be held by Pointblank as a shield or odd bludgeoning weapon. The Transformers Legacy version does not have the spoiler, but the resemblance to the original toy and character is very evident. Captain Kyle examines this figure and his Targetmaster partner in detail.
