TRANSFORMERS Knock Off MINDWIPE – Oversized "BatEvil" Review

Mindwipe was one of the original Transformer Headmasters and recently had a new version from the Titans Return line, which is a great homage to the character. But this BatEvil knock off is oversized and in lined with the original G1 while having remaining as posable as the new Transformers toy.

The Headmasters were introduced during the G1 era of The Transformers back around 1987 and Mindwipe was one of the Decepticon warriors with this new gimmick. They were actually original toys, unlike the toys in the first two series of Transformers that were repurposed from other toy lines. Due to an error at the factory where these toys were made, the Headmasters were actually larger in size than intended. But since they were already produced, sales continued anyways. With Titans Return, these Headmaster characters were redesigned but retained a lot of their G1 look and feel, though they were smaller than the originals… likely close to the intended size.

This oversized Transformers Knock Off, which is in the Robot Force knock off line, is actually around the size of the original G1, so makes a great homage to the toy and also contains die cast parts. Decepticon Mindwipe is back and just as big as he ever was!
