TRANSFORMERS HOT ROD “MS21 Flame Walker” Third Party Review

Hot Rod is a popular character, despite his role in Optimus Prime’s death. Mechanic Toys “Flame Walker” is a great third-party representation of this iconic character. Captain Kyle checks out this pocket-sized Autobot cavalier to see if he’s cool enough for you.

There have been many versions of Hot Rod released. This young Autobot was destined to become Rodimus Prime to save Cybertron from Unicron and screw everything else up. Mechanic Toys, sometimes known as Mechanic Studios or Mech Fan Toys, put out “Flame Walker,” a third-party version of Hot Rod that, while smaller than Studio 86 or G1, is still a clever design and comes with a decent selection of accessories. Captain Kyle reviews it to see if it stands up to be a diminutive Autobot leader in training.
