BLACKPINK in Your PUBG Area 

International K-Pop group, BLACKPINK, released a special music video in collaboration with MMO–PUBG Mobile.  Virtual avatars of the members were created for the game and to celebrate a music video was created. Ready for Love is a new single and shows the girls in the virtual world of PUBG.

Another Pinocchio…Because Reasons 

Disney released a trailer for the remake of their animated Pinocchio film earlier in July. Netflix said, “two can play that game,” as they recently released their trailer for their version of Pinocchio. Netflix’s Pinocchio comes from the beautifully dark mind of Guillermo Del Toro. Pinocchio will be in select theaters in November 2022, before being available on Netflix in December of the same year.

The Dark Knight Returns…but Not the One You Think

Jason Mamoa has revealed that Ben Affleck will be reprising his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Aquaman 2.  The Aquaman star shared the news on his personal Instagram. Mamoa posted a picture of himself and Affleck on the set of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom with the caption, “REUNITED bruce and arthur. love u and miss u Ben WB studio tours just explored the backlot alright. busted on set all great things coming AQUAMAN 2 all my aloha j” Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom is slated to be released on March 17, 2023.

Another Chance at Dragons 

The popular book series, Eragon, is getting another chance at a live-action adaptation. The series about dragons was once adapted to a film starring Ed Speelers as Eragon, Rachel Weisz as the voice of the dragon Saphira, Jeremy Irons as Brom, and John Malkovich as Galbatorix. The film was released in 2006 but was a box office failure. Disney will be turning the franchise into a series on Disney Plus.  The series will be called The Inheritance Cycle; with the author of the books, Christopher Paolini, as co-showrunner for the show.
