Shazam actors Michael Gray and John Davey were joined by comic book legend Jerry Ordway and writer/producer Donald Glut for a panel dedicated to the Power of Shazam! They talked about the show, the character, and answered fan questions.
Michael Gray played Billy Batson in the 1974 TV series Shazam! He is also known for The Brian Keith Show, The Flying Nun, Archer, and the Surge of Power independent films.
John Davey joined the Shazam TV series in the second season and played Captain Marvel, Billy’s alter-ego. He also appeared in The Secrets of Isis in three crossover episodes. He’s also known for The Rockford Files, Barnaby Jones, The Twilight Zone, CHiPs, and MacGyver.
Jerry Ordway is a comic book writer, penciler, inker, and painter. He is known for his work on Crisis on Infinite Earths, Superman, and more. He wrote and painted the Captain Marvel original graphic novel The Power of Shazam!
Donald Glut is a scriptwriter, author, and director who has written episodes of such shows as Shazam, Land of the Lost, The Transformers, GI Joe, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends, and many more. He also wrote the novelization of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back.
