Perhaps Hollywood is taking a much-needed vacation or we’re out of Summer Blockbusters. Regardless, we at Fandom Spotlite never rest! We tirelessly sweep the web to bring you the news you crave! Ok, that was a bit dramatic. Nevertheless, we got some news to share but first, it’s the RAPIDFIRE!

Amazon has released the main trailer for its upcoming Lord of The Rings series. Previous teasers have given us hints to what we can expect but the new trailer finally gives us an in-depth look at what’s to come.

Terrificon has been a pillar in the convention scene in the New England area since 2015. The convention provides one-of-a-kind experiences for fans, which is why it is known worldwide. This year, fans of the sci-fi series The Orville will want to get their tickets ASAP as four stellar cast members will be attending this year’s con!

This year’s Fanboy Expo Knoxville will have many reunion panels. Some of your favorite TV/film classics will be reuniting during live panels like the Warriors, Chips, MASH, and Little House on the Praire.

 Movie Dumpster implores you to prepare for a night full of Magick, Mayhem, and Little Rubber Monsters!

Check out the first gameplay trailer for Kingdom: The Blood. Based on the historical zombie horror series on Netflix, the game is set in a zombie-infested version of ancient Korea.

A24 has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming horror-comedy, Bodies Bodies Bodies. Set to release in theatres next month, Bodies Bodies Bodies is the latest addition to the studio’s impressive portfolio which includes entries like HereditaryThe Witch, and most recently X.

Ice Nine Kills may be cold but this summer take your fashion extra hot! Their Hell of a Summer Collection features hellraising graphic tees, hoodies, tank tops, a poster, candle, CDs, a mask, a death certificate, and a choker necklace.

Cardi B Reps COD in New Music Video 

Cardi B is doing some promo for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in her latest music video Hot Shit. The rapper is wearing a Call of Duty Ghost necklace to help promote this October’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. In Hot Shit you can see at 0:50 in the video the necklace in all its glory! Activision had the necklace custom-made for the rapper, hiring Omar The Jeweller for the elaborate design.

The Boys Spin-Off Aims for a Younger Generation

Amazon’s hit series The Boys just had its season finale for season three. Fans can look forward to even more heroic shenanigans as the series gets a younger spin-off.  Generation V will follow the lives of Supers during their time in college. Think of The Boys but if they went to Euphoria High.  The cast for the series includes Maddie Phillips, Reina Hardesty, and Jax Sinclair. Filming for Generation V has already begun.

Take a Trip to Pokemon’s Past 

The beloved franchise, Pokemon, has its own rich and vast history. The deep lore of the colorful creatures has enthralled fans for generations. A special exhibit in Tokyo’s National Museum of Nature and Science allows fans to explore Pokemon’s history with interactive experiences including Pokemon Fossils and their real-life counterparts.  If you are unable to make it to Japan, you can enjoy a virtual tour. Fandom Fans may recognize Alden Ehrenreich from his role as Han Solo in Solo: A Star Wars Story.  The actor is headed to the MCU with a role in Disney Plus’ IronHeart.  We don’t know what character he is playing but reports suggest it is a major role. Ehrenreich joins Dominique Thorne and Anthony Ramos, who has already signed on for the series.
