Superman Jon Kent Comes Out as Bisexual on National Coming Out Day

October 11th is National Coming Out Day, and DC woke up today and chose to put their best foot forward. As part of the current run of Superman, Jon Kent, son of Kal-El came out as Bisexual.

Tom Taylor wanted to ensure heroes represented the people who viewed them; “I’ve always said everyone needs heroes and everyone deserves to see themselves in their heroes and I’m very grateful DC and Warner Bros. share this idea.”

Jon joins a growing list of heroes that represent more than just standing against evil, they also represent the people who look up to them. You can read more about it in Superman: Son of Kal-El #5, part of the Future State arc!
