Stranger Things and Lord of the RIngs star Sean Astin spoke at a panel held at Fandemic Tour Houston 2019. He talked about his various roles, including Bob on Stranger Things and Sam in Lord of the Rings, and answered fan questions.
As an actor, Sean Astin’s career includes some incredibles roles. He was Mikey in Goonies, Rudy in… well, Rudy, Ed in No Good Nick, and has even voiced characters in Special Agent Oso, Teenage Mutant Ninja Video games as Raphael, Justice League Action and The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants. Of course his role as Bob on Stranger Things is amazing and as Samwise Gamgee in the Lord of the Rings Trilogy he touched the hearts of many fans.
In this panel, he answered many questions, though at one point he can’t help but get a bit political in speaking out against the withdrawal of US troops from the Syrian border.
