A Precious New Game
Experience the untold story in The Lord of the Rings™: Gollum™, a story-driven action RPG where our twisted protagonist is on a quest to regain the only thing precious to him. Torn by his fractured psyche, players will have to manage both Sméagol and Gollum on a journey that will take him across famous locales, revealing more about his time as a slave below the Dark Tower and his stray with the Elves of Mirkwood, as he interacts with iconic characters from the series. The Lord of the Rings™: Gollum™ will be available on September 1, 2022, on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Pretty Fashion Guardian Sailor Moon
In the name of the shoes, Jimmy Choo will bedazzle you! Renowned fashion designer, Jimmy Choo, has unveiled a celestial collab with Icon–Sailor Moon. Jimmy Choo has transformed Sailor Moon’s iconic boots into high fashion! Each pair is encrusted with roughly 19,000 Swarovski crystals. The fuchsia-colored silhouette is complete with a moon motif at the top in addition to a 10-centimeter-tall heel, maintaining the original look of Jimmy Choo’s classic shoes.
The boots are in honor of Sailor Moon’s 30th anniversary. The shimmering pair will be on display at Tokyo‘s Mori Art Museum in Roppongi.
The Sailor Moon x Jimmy Choo boots are available for order from July 1 through September 15 with limited quantities available at roughly $15,000 USD a pair. Shipping is scheduled for February 2023.
Another Look at The Rings of Power
Amazon Studios’ forthcoming series brings to screens for the very first time the heroic legends of the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth’s history. This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness. Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil on Middle-earth. From the darkest depths of the Misty Mountains to the majestic forests of the elf-capital of Lindon, to the breathtaking island kingdom of Númenor, to the furthest reaches of the map, these kingdoms and characters will carve out legacies that live on long after they are gone.
Disney Plus’s Andor to have Two Season
The Rogue One prequel series will follow Diego Luna’s character Cassian Andor. Andor will have two seasons. The first season will have 12 episodes and will follow a year of his life. The following season will span 4 years, with 3 episodes equaling a year. Season two will follow the events leading up to Rogue One. Season one will debut on Disney Plus on August 31, 2022. Fandom Spotlite’s Matt and Mikey will be reacting to the series.
An Echo From Marvel’s Past
Charlie Cox and Vincent D’ Onofrio will be returning as Daredevil and The Kingpin respectfully, for the Hawkeye spin-off–Echo. Disney Plus’s Echo will follow Maya Lopez who was one of the antagonists in the Hawkeye series. Echo has been slated for a release in 2023.
Two Death Notes
Streaming giant Netflix is looking to take another shot at adapting the popular anime/manga Death Note. The Duffer Brothers, who are behind the massively successful series, Strange Things, will be working to create a live-action series. Netflix’s previous attempt was a film that “Americanized,” the source material. Currently, there is no information on how the Duffer Brothers plan to adapt Death Note.
Cobra Kai in the Comfort of Your Own Home
Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising is a new video game based on the hit Netflix series. The game is a sequel to 2021’s Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga.
