Marvel will begin production on a Thunderbolts film adaptation. The Thunderbolts are a superhero team consisting mostly of reformed supervillains. There have been many iterations of the Thunderbolts since 1996 but this will be the first film adaptation produced for the series. Marvel Studios has already introduced several Thunderbolts members in the MCU, the most notable characters being Baron Zemo, who played a key role in Captain America: Civil War, and Crossbones- who will likely not appear due to being killed off early in the same film.
