“The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” reveals a chilling story of terror, murder, and unknown evil that shocked even experienced real-life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren.
Based on one of the most sensational cases from their files, it starts with a fight for the soul of a young boy, then takes them beyond anything they’d ever seen before, to mark the first time in U.S. history that a murder suspect would claim demonic possession as a defense.
Returning to play Ed and Lorraine Warren are Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga. Michael Chaves, who also directed The Curse of La Llorona, has directed this third film in The Conjuring franchise. James Wan and Peter Safran return as producers for this horror film. The Devil Made Me Do It is the 7th film in The Conjuring cinematic universe, making it the largest horror franchise in history.
The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It will be released in theaters and IMAX nationwide on June 4, 2021. It will also be available on HBO Max on the same day.
