Cruella Sequel in Early Development

Even though Disney’s live-action film Cruella was just released, a sequel is already in talks. Director Craig Gillespie and screenwriter Tony McNamara are both expected to return, but there’s no news on if Emma Stone will reprise her role as the leading lady. Cruella opened on May 28 in theaters and on Disney Plus via an additional $30 purchase. To date, the film has earned $32.4 million domestically and $48.5 million worldwide in sales. We’ll have to stay tuned to see what a sequel might bring!

Rob Zombie to direct The Munsters Film

Fans of the classic TV sitcom The Munsters will be excited to hear that Rob Zombie is to direct a Munsters Film. The Munsters was a 1964 sitcom about a family of friendly monsters who relocated from Transylvania to an American suburb, and this is the first reboot the show has ever seen. No word on what’s to come for this reboot, but it’s sure to be spooky fun with Zombie’s experience at the helm. 

Shadow and Bone Renews For A Second Season

Fandom recently shared that the Netflix series Shadow and Bone, the series based on the Grishaverse created by Leigh Bardugo, has been renewed for a second season. Like the first season, season two will also consist of eight episodes. If you haven’t watched the series yet, now’s the time to sit down and add this immersive fantasy show to your watchlist.

A Quiet Place 3 To Be Released in 2023

A third installment in the A Quiet Place film series is slated for release in 2023. Director Jeff Nichols will take over from John Krasinski in this film, with the story being based on an idea by Krasinski. Michael Bay, Andrew Form, Brad Fuller, and Krasinski are producing, with Allyson Seeger executive producing. Who knows what the third installment may hold?

Las Vegas Attraction Creates Blair Witch Experience For Fans

Bloody Disgusting shared that Lionsgate will work with Egan Escape Productions to create a new immersive escape experience in the heart of Las Vegas. This newest experience is coming in Summer 2021 and will place guests in the roles of investigators that need to work together to escape multiple rooms that bring the curse of the Blair Witch to life. A thrilling escape room experience indeed!

Voice Cast Unveiled for DC League of Super-Pets

Dwayne Johnson Voicing Krypto the Super Dog in DC League of Super-Pets – /FilmThe voice cast for the upcoming animated movie DC League of Super-Pets has now been revealed. Dwayne Johnson is set to voice super-canine Krypto the Superdog, and it will also feature the voices of Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, John Krasinski, Diego Luna, and Natasha Lyonne. The film is based on characters from DC Comics and is set to release on May 20, 2022.
