It’s Nerf or Nothin’

If the Rubix Cube, LEGOs, and Stretch Armstrong can get a movie; why not Nerf Guns? It seems that the company behind the classic toy, Hasbro, is looking to invest heavily into turning the toy into a Hollywood star.  According to reports, Hasbro is looking to bring Nerf the big screen, the small screen, and beyond by turning the action toy into an action franchise.  Hasbro also plans on creating YouTube and TikTok accounts for the toy to reach a younger audience. They also have partnered with Reebok to work on sneakers and clothes. What’s next? Nerf Insurance?

DJ Pikachu Keeps it Lit With New Remix 

If you aren’t looking forward to the darkness of the Synder Cut, then perhaps you can use the light of DJ Pikachu. Not only is the lovable Pokemon a detective, but he is also a working DJ. DJ Pikachu dropped the video for his new song, Lightning Remix. This timeline cleanser shows DJ Pikachu getting down on the ones and twos as he mixes classic Pokemon music together. There is also some adorable dancing!

Today’s Secret Word is Documentary

Directors Josh and Benny Safdie (Uncut Gems) have partnered with Pee-Wee Herman himself, Paul Reubens, on a two-part documentary about his life. The new documentary will give us an exclusive look behind the colorful world that is Pee-Wee and reveal the real story of Paul Reubens. The documentary will be available on HBO and HBO Max in the near future.

Lets’a Go to Super Nintendo World…in 2025


Universal Studios Orlando has announced the tentative opening date for their Super Nintendo World theme park. Super Nintendo World was scheduled to open in 2023, but due to covid-19, construction was halted. The park hasn’t fully committed to the date but they are assuring fans that they are starting construction soon. We’re just wondering if the princess is going to be in another castle when we visit.

Now We Know When There Will Be Total Carnage

The sequel to Tom Hardy’s Venom movie, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, has fans excited. Though the film itself was not critically loved, audiences enjoyed it. In the end credits scene of Venom, they let everyone know Carnage was coming one day. We can officially say that day is September 17, 2021. Venom vs Carnage is one of the biggest showdowns in comic book history, and now we get to see it on the big screen.

The God Of Mischief Returns This Summer 

Everyone’s favorite villain-turned-hero Loki is making his return in his own Disney+ series. Loki’s series will follow The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, giving Thor’s brother his small screen debut on June 11, 2021. We thought Frost Giants don’t like the summer?

A Film Legend Passes Away 

Yaphet Kotto, first Black Bond villain and 'Alien' actor, dies at 81 - Entertainment - The Jakarta Post
Screen legend Yaphet Kotto passed away this week. Kotto was 81 years old. Yaphet Kotto was known for being was the first black Bond villain, and Fandom Fans will remember him for his role as Parker in Alien. He reprised the role in the Alien Isolation video game, which is also Kotto’s last known role. We send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and fans.
