Earthrise GRAPPLE Vs Classics GRAPPLE – Versus Review

Transformers Earthrise Grapple is a great homage to the original Generation One toy and character, but the Classics version which came out previously also has some fun features. In this Versus review, Captain Kyle compares the Earthrise Grapple to the Classics Grapple… and even has some help(?) from a cat.

The Autobot architect Grapple dreams of building incredible structures, including a Solar Power Tower at one point. He’s quite the genius with engineering, but the Constructicons took advantage of his desire to build a Solar Power Tower to trick him into building it for the Decepticons. It was ultimately destroyed, but Grapple dreams of building another one in a time of peace.

The Earthrise version of this toy resembles the original G1 toy greatly. However, new engineering has made it a much more posable and interesting figure. The Classics Grapple was also an improvement over the original G1, but the resemblance in robot mode is not as close. But both are still great figures. Let us know in the comments which you prefer!
