Courtney Cox’s revival in the horror genre continues with a starring role in Shining Vale. Fresh off her return to the Scream franchise in Scream (2022), Cox stars in the new horror-comedy series from Starz.
“Shining Vale” is a horror-comedy about a dysfunctional family that moves from the city to a small town into a house in which terrible atrocities have taken place. But no one seems to notice except for Pat, who’s convinced she’s either depressed or possessed – turns out, the symptoms are exactly the same.
Cox stars as Pat Phelps, a former “wild child” who became famous through writing raunchy female empowerment novels. The series follows Pat as she tries to finish her latest novel on time after moving with her family to Shining Vale, Connecticut.
Finishing the novel isn’t her only problem – her husband is constantly at work, her kids ignore her and the house the family move into might just be haunted!
