On Sunday, November 15, 2020, The E! People’s Choice Awards aired. It’s an award show bringing together the best in film, television, music, social media, and fashion. As the name of the show indicates, the winners are chosen by the people. The CW series based on the Archie comics won for the best drama show of 2020. This is a bit of a surprise as some of the non-white cast members have raised alarms about how they were being treated. Riverdale’s off-screen drama apparently didn’t sway the people’s votes.

Cole Sprouse, who plays Jughead on Riverdale, won The Male TV Star of 2020. He’s come a long way from living the Suite Life.
Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show
The SyFy series Wynonna Earp was voted by the people as The Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show of 2020. Fans have often thought of this show as a best-kept secret. However, it looks like the secret is out.
Style Star
Spider-Man and Euphoria actress Zendaya won the People’s Choice for the Style Star of 2020. A win I think we all can agree is most deserving.
Best Male Movie Star
