12 SCIENCE FICTION MOVIES That Became TV Shows (+ A BONUS!)

Many movies are adapted into television shows, and the science fiction genre is no exception. Star Wars has unleashed many, but in this list, we will look at 12 other science fiction movies that became TV shows. Some were hits, some were misses and some died before their time.

Movies covered include Planet of the Apes, Westworld, Terminator/Terminator 2: Judgment Day (which became the Sarah Connor Chronicles), Starman, War of the Worlds, Alien Nation, Robocop, Stargate (which spawned Stargate SG-1 and others), Timecop, Limitless, Minority Report and Frequency. Some may be familiar to you while others you might be wondering how you missed them.
